The last few months have been challenging for everyone and we have missed being able to help our patients in our busy clinic, however the safety and wellbeing of our patients and our team has always been our top priority.
Whilst we have managed to help many of you through our Telehealth service (virtual consultations) and prescribed exercise, and we have seen great progress with our patients who are taking part in our rehabilitation and online classes, however sometimes a hands-on treatment is needed.
From Wednesday 3rd June, we will be be re-opening for ‘emergency’ face to face appointments and we look forward to welcoming you back to the clinic. We have in place new procedures and measures, following the latest guidance and extensive risk assessments, to ensure we are creating the safest possible environment. These will be updated and amended over time to stay current and reactive to the global changes.
In line with current guidance all patients will need to have a virtual consultation first, for us to agree together with you the most effective way forward. If a face to face appointment is required and if you are comfortable to attend the clinic, we will explain to you during your online consultation;
As with all healthcare appointments we will ask you a series of screening questions in relation to Covid-19 and if you are attending the clinic we will send you an online screening form which you will need to complete online before your appointment.
Working together to stay safe
Whilst most of our paperwork is already online, we did have the ability to provide physical copies of appointment times and receipts, for safety, at this current time all paperwork relating to your appointment will be online and emailed directly to you prior to your appointment.
Please can you complete this and send it back to us. It is important that we have the correct email address and contact details for you and please do monitor your spam folder in case our emails have found their way in there.
We also have in place an online payment system. A link from our payment provider, ‘sumup’ will be sent to your mobile which will take you through to a secure payment site (if you have been taking part in our virtual classes you will be familiar with this). Your next appointment will be booked at the time of your appointment by your clinician and confirmation and reminders will be emailed to you (as before).
Throughout the clinic we have put in place extra measures such as;
Whilst high standards of cleaning and hygiene have always been maintained at Knott Kinetics, we have put in place additional cleaning measures for communal areas and treatment rooms. We have also scheduled extra time between patients to allow for this.
Hand hygiene remains of upmost importance.
We would like to reassure our patients that we have carried out detailed risk assessments on the services we offer and are confident we are providing an as safe as possible environment for our patients. However, if you have any concerns or questions please do discuss this with your clinician first.
We will be reviewing the services we offer and our procedures on an ongoing basis and subject to the Government recommendations, we will be updating you regularly. To this point, all group classes will remain online, (via Zoom) at this time.
